I write articles and make videos reporting on economic policy, rent and landlord news for my news website The Daily Renter. I have an opinion column series called “The Homeless Economist” where I analyze the economy from the ground up and I have been known to sometimes talk shop from the inside of a dumpster.

The Homeless Economist’s mission is to show Americans that our financial system dispossesses us from land and homes, and old ideas like the Henry George single tax on land could transform the political, economic and environmental situation. The tax system is, as author Dominic Frisby called it, “the operating system” with which economic systems are designed by those in power. Housing is also essential in establishing the basic economic right of a people to create their own lives using the opportunities of nature and land.

A member of the Public Revenue Education Council Board, see https://www.trylvt.org/

“We’re all homeless because the rent is too damn high, and land value tax would solve this.”
