In recent weeks, Dr. Daryl Fairweather has been interviewed a number of times on outlets such as CBS News, Fortune Magazine and two influential podcasts (Bloomberg’s Odd Lots and Narratives) about the potential of land value tax shifts to increase the supply of housing and decrease the impacts of historical redlining policies that have legacy impacts on existing Americans of color. She highlights the incentive to build housing and the bolstering of social equity as major reasons in favor of LVT.
Dr. Fairweather has worked for Amazon, the Federal Reserve Bank in addition to Redfin, focusing on behavioral economics. She received her PhD from University of Chicago.
