Edward Dodson has taught history and political economy for over four decades at the Henry George School of Social Science. He earned a B.S. degree from Shippensburg State College in 1973 and a M.L.A. degree from Temple University in 1990. He is the author of a 3-volume work titled “The Discovery of First Principles” and numerous articles on Georgist political economy and the social sciences generally. An extensive selection of his published articles and papers is available online at the School of Cooperative Individualism website he established in 1997. Ed retired in 2005 from his professional work in the housing finance sector, the last 20 years of which in various management and analyst positions at Fannie Mae. He continues to serve on the faculties of the Henry George School and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Temple University.
